Computer Update

update, sorry my computer was broke.  I repaired it with a battery.  Now to tune my truck with a kentucky switch of oak.  It's pretty rough running, but I can't reach it to tune the carbeurator while i'm pressing the gas, Stick.

It took a long time to fix my computer.  Parts are kinda slow delivery if they go ground travel or not.  Everything is kinda far away as I become farsighted.  Still Painting though

I use to play trumpet, so this was a fun picture for me to paint.  Nearly Perfect, and one of a kind.

Haven't been writing many poems.  Haven't been writing much Period!  Been kinda loopy and down from the winter blues and SAD, plus cabin fever is always fun to break out of the house and walk in the snow puddles with waterproof boots.  My tennis shoes sucked, and winter boots don't have to be perfectly rubber.  but I guess it depends how much water is in there.  So no April Poetry Month celebration on here.  Was Dealing With Car Problems.  Still Am!

And in VHN, we got burned out running our group in Sandpoint.  But it's nice to paint for a spell, and journal.  But darnit! my landscape journals keep going missing.  I ruined my first one at a Craftshow I was displaying at.  I guess I needed to keep at home what I didn't need there at the show.  Oh well.  So I got up and made another one that I'm using that David gave me for X-mas.

Anyway, I've been fine.

On The Road To Nowhere

the orange glowed alongside long time way to the sun...

nowhere in a flash but stream and brook,

then sum timed and squared to make a 4.53 foot Diameter hole in the rock would be 19 feet squared or round with a tunnel maker from the TyRex Corporation.

Some Shocked, some hot, some drilled, and lots Not!

A curious snake weaved it's way with a leash and released inside the apart hole straight out of sherlock holmes, and the weasel undid the darkness while the snake peered in UV at Silver Ore.

Breaking a lantern or two when the excited operator slammed his fists!

Silver Or Not they pulled out, and put in a lateral drilling bit to sample with singing the done now song of old and a mighty Hallelujah!

Unrequitted Love

 Flowers spring unbidden unexpected unwanted
The rose greens up anyways and Crocus blooms
The soil holds you and warms your roots
It is your destiny to bloom

Now wherefore did we ask what you want
Wherefore did I ask why
I pity those fools who always look for an answer
Any time you don't know

Endless bickering.
Argument after Argument
You do not tame a shrew.
They leave eventually,
When you stop feeding them.

I pity those fools
Who want it made their way.
I think it false advertisement
And rational to think that.
"Because I hate it!" which being valid,
ISN'T the Whole Argument!

So you hate cheeseburgers
And you hate hics
And you hate cowboys
And you don't like wage slavery.
What's you point?  Do you have to like everything or something.
Or do you just hate liars
Or false advertisement?

These flowers spring unbidden
From your roots
Once, twice, three times
Perennially life has created you
Invent

April Springs

 My Day Started Dark
a little earlier than usual, and I could see sky stars shined
and when I could see sky I felt better
The vines haven't awakened
Like We haven't woke

Flowers spread now though
Grass greens with each day of Spring
Soon, very soon, I can burn and cut to burn
Out Deadfall and into my woodshed
There isn't much in the countryside
Except work we make for ourselves
Like berry picking times with family

Even planned out, it's a simple affair
And Dave's Pear is budding
But for pruning, most of my junk is sorta uncluttered
Just too wet and muddy to do much
Maybe?  My Dad was a workaholic
And I his understudy?

That makes more sense than 20 errands in town.
I always have 3 or 4, and 20 grocery items.
More Money More Problems I Guess
Explains the cost of watches and timepieces
Explains the cost of labor
Explains the cost of money
My Dad told me, "It Adds Up,"
And that's all he ever really taught me about accounting money.

So, thank you reader,
I think I've realized I'm not underachieving
My Whole Family is A-Type, Workaholic-like Even!
Now when we can rest, and walk more, paint more, live more
We'll BE better...
In the same vein as the best Dad in the world, like mine,
but MayBE Good, Better, or Rather-Than-Him
Do Your Best Dad, I love you.
And miss your smile
